Our Partner: Angelina Usanova and the Angelina Usanova Foundation
Angelina Usanova, philanthropist and environmental activist, together with her Angelina Usanova Foundation, has become one of the most dedicated supporters of the City of Goodness. For her contribution to the development of rehabilitation infrastructure and child care programs in Ukraine, she received the Golden Brick Award at the Dream and Act national forum.
Through her Foundation, Angelina Usanova provides long-term humanitarian, medical, and emotional assistance to the children, mothers, and animals under our care. The City of Goodness is home to more than 400 children, mothers affected by war and domestic violence, and hundreds of rescued animals. The support of Angelina Usanova and her Foundation helps us sustain and expand this community — offering not only safety, but dignity, hope, and healing to those who have endured loss and trauma.
The Foundation’s contributions include the delivery of medical equipment, medicines, and rehabilitation supplies to the Butterfly House hospice, where more than 300 critically ill children receive care each month. Among the key donations were a Dixion Storm DS5 patient monitor, infusion pumps, aspirators, tracheostomy and enteral feeding tubes, CRP diagnostic reagents, and vital anticonvulsant and pain-relief medications.
Angelina Usanova and her Foundation also provided medical beds, rehabilitation equipment, and hypoallergenic bedding, improving comfort and care for the children. They assisted in organizing the National Conference on Pediatric Palliative Care (15–16 August 2025), which enhanced knowledge sharing and capacity building among Ukrainian medical professionals.
Beyond medical aid, Angelina Usanova and her Foundation support cultural and emotional development. Together with our team, they organized the “Seen Through the Heart” exhibition in Kyiv — an event honoring a visually impaired child and showcasing art as a path to healing.
Their partnership also extends to our animal welfare initiatives. With their help, more than 200 rescued dogs have received support, including 174 kilograms of food, 7 kilograms of treats, and 8 new dog beds. The Foundation also contributed to therapy animal training, which plays an essential role in the recovery of children and survivors of trauma.
Through this partnership, Angelina Usanova and her Foundation have strengthened the support system for children in medical crisis, families affected by war, and abandoned animals. Their example shows that compassion and consistency can restore hope and bring real change where it is needed most.
